Strengthening our First Team
First Team,
At CloudOne Digital, we’re focused on delivering Cloud Solutions that create real business outcomes—powerful, simple, and relentlessly secure. Our strategy is anchored in two complementary growth engines:
- Liquid Web: A high-performance cloud application platform with SaaS-like simplicity, natively secured, and powered by the scale and performance of our Servers.com infrastructure.
- Servers.com: Globally scaled and performant bare metal and private cloud solutions for performance-sensitive workloads that require the control, security, and cloud agility.
To fully realize the potential of this strategy, we must operate as one unified company—integrating our strongest capabilities, including StellarWP and Modern Tribe, to deliver compelling, differentiated market solutions. A more cohesive approach positions us for sustained growth, enabling us to bring together our complete catalog of offerings to create market-leading cloud solutions that are scalable, high-performing, simple, and focused on driving meaningful business outcomes for our customers
To help bring this strategy to life, I’m excited to welcome three new members to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), all reporting directly to me. Their appointments mark the first of many milestones in our transformation journey—designed for accelerated growth, increased productivity, and scale—and reflect our commitment to building a high-performance organization.
- Sheila Flaherty joins us as Chief Legal Officer, where she will lead all global legal matters. As we scale, unify our platform, and pursue strategic growth, Sheila’s leadership will be essential in supporting enterprise-wide governance.
She brings extensive experience advising high-growth public and private companies through transformation and expansion. Sheila previously served as Chief Legal & Administrative Officer at Alert Logic and as EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Demandware, where she played a key role in the company’s successful IPO. Her background spans IPO readiness, M&A, SaaS, data privacy, and cybersecurity—making her a strategic partner as we grow our platform and expand our customer and partner ecosystems. - Kathy Austin joins us as Chief People Officer, leading the full scope of our People Experience strategy. She will oversee talent acquisition, total performance, total rewards, organizational design, and employee growth—building a culture that empowers people to do their best work and aligns talent to business outcomes.
As we integrate our brands and scale as one company, Kathy will play a key role in shaping a unified employee experience that is performance-driven, and empowered for what’s ahead.
Kathy brings more than 25 years of HR leadership experience across high-growth and transformation-focused organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Universal Background Screening and previously held leadership roles at Edgio, Vispero, and cxLoyalty—where she led people strategy through rapid scale, cultural transformation, and business integration. - Erin Raese joins as Chief Growth Officer, responsible for transforming our go-to-market strategy and accelerating growth across the business. She will oversee Strategic Growth, Demand Generation, Market Channels, Creative & Brand, and Revenue Operations, with a focus on:
- Elevating sales performance through improved workflows and sales enablement motions
- Leveraging AI-powered marketing to prioritize high-value opportunities
- Expanding routes to market via strategic Channel & Partner programs
The addition of these leaders brings valuable depth to our ELT and proven experience in building high-performance organizations. Their expertise will be key in accelerating our journey to becoming the cloud solution of choice for driving better business outcomes.
In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to roll out our simplified Operating Model, targeting full implementation by August 1. This model will increase clarity of ownership, strengthen alignment, and boost organizational agility.
Let’s stay focused—and be great for our customers.
Best,
Bob
