Timecard Procedures – Memorial Day
Exempt Employees
Holiday hours for eligible exempt employees will automatically populate in Time on 5/25/2026. No action is required on exempt employee time cards.
Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employees
Holiday hours for eligible hourly employees must be entered by the supervisor on the employee’s timecard. If holiday hours are not entered, the employee will not receive holiday pay.

Supervisors are responsible for:
- Approving and documenting holiday work schedules in advance
- Communicating approved schedule adjustments to employees
- Monitoring schedules to avoid unintended overtime
- Ensuring all time worked is accurately recorded and paid in accordance with company policy and applicable wage and hour laws
Alternate Holiday Scheduling for Non-Exempt Employees
Because Nexcess operates 24/7/365, employees may not observe company holidays on the calendar date. Eligible hourly employees may use their holiday benefit within the same workweek, subject to supervisor approval and business needs. Please see the Holiday Policy for full details.
For the upcoming Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 25, 2026, approved holiday hours may be scheduled anytime during the following period: Sunday, 5/24/26 – Saturday, 5/30/26
Floating Holiday Clarification
For the 2026 calendar year, eligible full-time employees received one Floating Holiday to use at their discretion. Additional Floating Holidays will not be provided in lieu of working on company holidays.
Floating Holidays must be requested and approved in advance, used by December 31, 2026, and will not carry over or be paid out unless required by applicable law or Company policy. Please refer to the policy for full details.
