(All) New Video Surveillance Policy: What You Need to Know

At Nexcess, keeping you, our business, and our customers’ data safe is a top priority.

Whether you are working at our main offices or managing critical infrastructure in our global data centers, a secure environment allows all of us to do our best work.

To ensure we maintain this security while complying with applicable data protection laws, we have revised our Video Surveillance Policy effective immediately.

What is this policy?

Video surveillance (CCTV) and electronic access systems are vital tools for protecting our people, property, and confidential infrastructure from unauthorized access or safety incidents. This policy ensures that our security measures always strike the right balance between robust protection and privacy compliance.

The use of surveillance is limited to legitimate security and safety business purposes and restricted to public and operational areas, not for improper monitoring, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Why This Matters

Compliance isn’t just a legal checkbox; it’s a collective responsibility.  Please review the attached policy which can also be found on Spark to ensure you are familiar with the rules and follow them at all times.

Any questions regarding this policy can be raised with the Legal and Security & Compliance team.
